Hello again

I'm on gabapentin and my pain specialist says it only works in 60% of people.
I'm so fortunate it does work on me.
That terrible neuro pain that burns is much better.
They have now given me tamazopam and I only have one pill and CLONK! Asleep!

The pain regime I'm on is this: paracetamol 500 (4 times a day) gabapentin 700 (4 times a day) zomorph 60 (twice a day) and oramorph as and when.
I'd like to take diclofenac but after the duodenal ulcer I dare not.

I'm on steroids still. Plus the diabetic metformin and jabs of insulin and victosa. There's the blood pressure pill in there too somewhere plus the vitamin d pills! Think a few others too
Good grief- I think I rattle!

I had a whole good day with my tummy yesterday and then it kept me up in the night so I've had a little rest this afternoon.
Rose, have you seen a neurologist about the dead leg thing? Is it painful? Have you been checked for DVT and nasties at the hosp?
Sod work, if you're ill, you're ill.
If they had flu they'd be off
Ra and fibro is like flu.
So there!

Much love and keep smiling. Think of me armed to the teeth with my air freshner and loo roll going into another evening of tummy joys....!

Jenni this must be awful for you. Surely by now they should of found out what it is. I've always thought that they don't let this sort of thing go on too long.

Hope things settle down for you soon, or you will have to get some shares in Andrex toilet tissues, their sales figures must be on the up.

I'm going to see a gastro specialist.
Apparently I'm going to be fast tracked as there was iron found (look away now) in my poo!
Not too fast though as I'm under 40
I think it's prob something Inflammatory ish

But the ra seems to being more manageable on the enbrel. I'm not really sure what it all means.

Hi Jenni

Yet another specialist... you must have the full collection now!!!

Hope you get an appointment soon, I read in one of your earlier posts you have had a duodenal ulcer, could that be causing all your tummy tantrums? Hope the gastro-people can give you more answers and the enbrel just keeps working.

Love

Great news Jenni - fingers crossed!!! (rather than legs)

Do you know what caused it or did it just "go away"??
